Circular No. 002 of 2021 19th January, 2021 Dear Brothers and Sisters, Sub: NUSI Online membership payment We are pleased to inform you that the National Union of Seafarers of India (NUSI) has decided to start a facility for online membership payment. During Covid -19 many of our members who wanted to deposit their membership dues had requested this online facility. This online facility of NUSI is also in line with the government of India initiative to have a cashless economy by going digital. Your support to NUSI will further make our union more strong to give better service to our members and their families. Presently only those seafarers serving on foreign flag ships who have already been selected for employment by their companies can update their membership online for the years 2020 and 2021. Please ensure that the NUSI membership for the previous years are updated. Please follow the following online steps to update your NUSI membership. 1. Go to link https://membership.nusi.org. 2. Put your Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC) number and get OTP (One Time Password) on your mobile number registered with NUSI. In case your email id and mobile number is not registered or for any other membership query, then contact NUSI HO only on nusimembership@gmail.com and not on nusi@nusi.org.in 3. After entering OTP number, proceed to the Membership Payment Gateway Screen: • Select your rank from the drop-down menu or enter it manually. • Select company and ship name from the drop down menu or enter it manually. • The membership amount is displayed. • Current and previous year dues has to be made in two separate payments. • Click on “Pay Now” button and follow the payment instructions. • Payment mode of operation by Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking. After making successful payment, seafarers will receive their Membership Receipt on their email ID registered with NUSI. You can download and also print the receipt.
